At Cook Community Clinic, formerly Lake Norman Community Health Clinic, our mission has been to create a medical home for uninsured families and individuals in Mecklenburg and southern Iredell counties. We strive to empower our patients by educating them on ways to achieve and maintain a healthier lifestyle for themselves and their loved ones.
Free and Charitable clinics across the state are projecting a 15% increase in the number of newly uninsured. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, CCC maintained its commitment to service through increased staffing, expanded hours of operation, telemedicine appointments, and limited in-person visits. The clinic is not a patient mill, rather it is a place where the patient has the time to talk about current issues and the clinical staff is able to guide you to the right path. As my time as a patient at LNCHC comes to an end, I am only hopeful that I can receive this kind of care going forward.
